Job Overview
Front Desk Squad Part Time
924 16th Street W, North Vancouver, BC
Compensation: $17.40 / hr
Spin Society, a leading boutique indoor cycling studio, is looking for a motivated, outgoing, and friendly individual to join our team as a PART TIME front desk Squad member.
Spin Society: not your average spin studio. We were tired of uninspired sweat sessions, and took it upon ourselves to rewrite the rulebook when it came to indoor cycling. We promise a 50 minute rhythm-based full body ride. We focus on fun, empowerment, and transformation. To consistently deliver on this promise, we’re looking for someone like YOU to join us!
From the moment our riders walk through the door, we want them to feel the Spin Society difference. We offer the best customer service, in a high end facility, and a no compromise top level sweat session. The Spin Society difference is at the core of why we do what we do. It defines our culture, and it’s why “we are what we do, not what we say”.
Responsibilities:
- Uphold our Spin Society culture.
- Provide top notch customer service – hands down the most important part of this role!
- Assist the Studio Lead and management in daily studio tasks and projects.
- Maintain a positive attitude and take initiative.
- Assist our instructors with clipping in riders and ensuring class starts on time.
- Work as a team and communicate effectively.
- Assist with the training and coaching of new Squad members.
- Maintain the Spin Society brand aesthetic, appearance, atmosphere, and culture.
Qualifications:
Must have:
- Outstanding customer service and problem solving skills.
- A positive attitude and ability to make people smile.
- The ability to prioritize and multi-task within a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of personalities.
- Great organizational skills.
Must be:
- Willing to initiate tasks and perform duties without direction.
- Available to work part time (15+ hours) within a non traditional schedule – early morning, night, and weekend availability is required. Preferred schedules will be considered, but not guaranteed. Scheduling will vary as needed.
- Able to bend, kneel, reach, and assist clients with bike setup.
- Able to lift and carry a minimum of 25lbs (laundry basket, hand weights, etc).
