FAQ
I’VE ALWAYS BEEN INTIMIDATED BY INDOOR CYCLING, IS IT ONLY FOR HARD CORE ATHLETES?
Not at all! Everyone is welcome at Spin Society. No matter your level of athleticism, Spin Society is a community bound by its love for music, adrenaline and sweat. In fact, we love sharing this incredible experience with as many people as possible. Please arrive 15 minutes early and our passionate instructors will help you set up your ride. After one class, you’ll be wondering why you’ve missed out all this time! Indoor cycling is about you and pushing yourself at your own pace. Although the energy in the room will make you want to spin faster and harder, you can always adjust the tension on your bike to a level that is appropriate for you.

What if I'm late for class or cutting it really close to the start?
With that said, those final minutes before class begins are critical to setting everyone up for success and providing a safe experience. We do request that you are present 15 minutes before the scheduled start of class. In order to preserve the experience for others and to ensure a safe environment, we cannot admit anyone who arrives after the scheduled class start time. This means that once the studio doors are closed, even if our staff are in the room assisting riders and the instructor has not started, no one can enter to join the class.
On the flip side, we politely ask that you do not leave before cool down. We are working hard to create positive, focused energy in the room for the entire class time. If you need to leave early for any reason, we unfortunately cannot re-admit you to the spin room for your safety and those around you. Our staff are available and ready to help any rider that leaves early. The only exception to leaving early is if our equipment becomes faulty during class i.e. bike malfunction or bike shoe failure. If this occurs our staff will work to remedy the issue and help you back into class on an appropriate bike.
After our class start time, you will be considered a late cancel subject to our cancellation policy and are welcome to book into the next class that works for your schedule.

What happens if I accidentally leave something behind?
Spin Society is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. For your peace of mind, we recommend leaving valuables at home or storing your belongings in our lockers that are available on site. If you forget something, we’ll keep it in the lost and found for up to two weeks. Any unclaimed items after this time will be donated.
Can I bring my pet to the studio?
While we love your furry companions, to keep everyone safe and to ensure a great experience for all our guests, we do not allow pets to accompany you during your class. If you have a service dog — please email sctyhq@spinsociety.ca as we may require additional information.
